Psalm 23 and a New Way of Living

In today's culture, consumerism and the desire to accumulate material wealth have become the norm. We often find ourselves caught up in the cycle of thinking that our wants are needs and that we deserve everything we desire. Our modern society constantly bombards us with messages that accumulating possessions will bring us fulfillment and happiness. However, Psalm 23 provides a contrasting perspective on this issue.

The analogy of a sheep being completely dependent on its shepherd invites us to reflect on our own dependency and obedience to God.
