What Does it Mean to Live a Life of Purpose and Praise?
Do you ever stop and wonder why God chose to save you? Is it just so you could get saved and go about your life, or is there a greater purpose behind it all? Today, I’m excited to tell you the beautiful truth that we were made for more than just surviving - we were made to bring forth praise to Jesus.
It's not about merely existing; it's about finding our best life in and with the people of God. When we see our contribution, and find our community, it becomes a place of celebration.
So, what does it mean to live a life of purpose and praise? It's about recognizing the unique gifts and talents that God has given us. It's about writing that book, composing that song, or starting that business - all to bring praise to the One who created us.
Salvation, deliverance, and redemption - these are powerful, life-changing experiences. However, they're not the end of the story. They are the beginning of a journey where we start to walk out a different life, understanding that we have a destiny and purpose designed specifically for us by God.
But it doesn't stop there. Living for Jesus means recognizing that our entire lives belong to Him. Our finances, our relationships, our work - everything is His. It's about living a life to the full, not just the good or the great, but the fullness that comes from living for a higher purpose than just our own.
As followers of Jesus, we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and God's holy possession. This is a powerful truth that reminds us of the incredible purpose and calling that our lives hold.
So, today, take a moment to reflect on how you can live a life of purpose and praise. Embrace the unique gifts and callings that God has placed within you, and live each day in a way that reflects His goodness, kindness, and love.
As you go about your day, remember that you were made for more than survival - you were made to bring forth praise to Jesus. Your life is meant to be a celebration of His grace, love, and faithfulness.
